SearchOption Enumeration

Note: This enumeration is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Specifies whether to search all or only top-level directories.

 Member nameDescription
SearchAllSubDirectoriesSearch the specified directory and all subdirectories within it. Default. 
SearchTopLevelOnlySearch only the specified directory and exclude subdirectories.

This enumeration is used with the My.Computer.FileSystem.GetFiles Method, My.Computer.FileSystem.GetDirectories Method, and My.Computer.FileSystem.FindInFiles Method.
