Return Value

A PropertyDescriptor with the default property, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if there are no properties.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
NotSupportedException	component is a cross-process remoted object.

Remarks

If the component parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), this method returns a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
