My.Computer.Keyboard.AltKeyDown Property 

Gets a Boolean indicating if the ALT key is down.


' Usage
Dim value As Boolean = My.Computer.Keyboard.AltKeyDown

Public ReadOnly Property AltKeyDown As Boolean

A Boolean value: True if the ALT key is down; otherwise False.

The My.Computer.Keyboard.AltKeyDown property provides functionality similar to the ModifierKeys property.

This example uses the My.Computer.Keyboard.AltKeyDown property to determine if the computer's ALT key is down.

If My.Computer.Keyboard.AltKeyDown Then
    MsgBox("ALT key down")
Else
    MsgBox("ALT key up")
End If
