Power Management I/O Controls (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

The following table shows the Power Management I/O controls with a description of the purpose of each.

I/O control	Description
IOCTL_POWER_CAPABILITIES	Checks device-specific capabilities.
IOCTL_POWER_GET	Gets the current device power state.
IOCTL_POWER_QUERY	Checks whether changing power state is feasible. This I/O control is deprecated and is not called by Power Manager.
IOCTL_POWER_SET	Requests a change from one device power state to another.
IOCTL_REGISTER_POWER_RELATIONSHIP	Notifies the parent device so the parent device can register all devices it controls.
