GetCampaignsByIds Service Operation - Campaign Management

Gets the specified campaigns within an account.

Request Elements

The GetCampaignsByIdsRequest object defines the body and header elements of the service operation request. The elements must be in the same order as shown in the Request SOAP.

Note

Unless otherwise noted below, all request elements are required.

Request Body Elements

Element Description Data Type
AccountId The identifier of the account that contains the campaigns to get. long
CampaignIds A maximum of 100 identifiers of the campaigns to get from the specified account.

The identifiers must correspond to campaigns of the specified CampaignType or types, and otherwise the service will return error code EntityIdFilterMismatch (Code 516).		 long array
CampaignType The type of campaigns to get, for example Search, Shopping, or DynamicSearchAds.

This request element is optional. If you do not set any campaign type, the default value is Search i.e., only Search campaigns will be returned.

You may include multiple values as flags. How you specify multiple flags depends on the programming language that you use. For example, C# treats these values as flag values and Java treats them as an array of strings. The SOAP should include a string that contains a space-delimited list of values for example, <CampaignType>Search Shopping</CampaignType>.		 CampaignType
ReturnAdditionalFields The list of additional properties that you want included within each returned campaign. The additional field values enable you to get the latest features using the current version of Campaign Management API, and in the next version the corresponding elements will be included by default.

AuthenticationToken The OAuth access token that represents the credentials of a user who has permissions to Microsoft Advertising accounts.

This header element must have the same value as the AccountId body element when both are required. This element is required for most service operations, and as a best practice you should always set it.

Password This element is reserved for internal use and will be removed from a future version of the API. You must use the AuthenticationToken element to set user credentials. string

Response Elements

The GetCampaignsByIdsResponse object defines the body and header elements of the service operation response. The elements are returned in the same order as shown in the Response SOAP.

Campaigns An array of Campaign objects that corresponds directly to the campaign identifiers that you specified in the request. Items of the list may be returned as null. For each list index where a campaign was not retrieved, the corresponding element will be null. Campaign array
PartialErrors An array of BatchError objects that contain details for any campaigns that were not successfully retrieved.

The list of errors corresponds directly to the list of campaigns in the request. Items of the list may be returned as null. For each list index where a campaign was successfully retrieved, the corresponding error element will be null.
