Disk Management Command Line Utility
The Disk Management Command Line Utility component provides a command-line utility for managing disks and volumes. This component uses the Diskpart.exe application and is scriptable. It can be used to perform disk-related tasks, such as creating partitions and volumes and assigning drive letters.

This component includes the application, Diskpart.exe, which is the command-line utility for disk and volume management.

This component is a client that encompasses the Disk Management Services component.

There are no configurable settings for this component.
Notes
This component behaves identically to the Disk Management MMC Snap-In component. You can use one or both components to manage disks and volumes.
