Char.Equals Method (Char)

Returns a value that indicates whether this instance is equal to the specified Char object.

obj: Type: System.Char
An object to compare to this instance.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the obj parameter equals the value of this instance; otherwise, false.

IEquatable<T>.Equals(T)

Remarks

This method implements the System.IEquatable<T> interface, and performs slightly better than Char.Equals because it does not need to unbox the obj parameter.
