Top StoryAction Required: Plan for Adjusted Winqual Downtime Starting February 9, 2012 This is an update to our announcement in the Windows Logo Program Newsletter sent on January 10, 2012. We are making this adjustment to minimize interruption of services to partners during weekday working hours. On Thursday, February 9, 2012, at 18:00 Pacific Time (UTC-8), Winqual will go offline.Service will return on or before Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 12:00 Pacific Time. During this period, the Winqual site will be unavailable. We ask you to adjust your plans to account for this amended interruption to the Winqual service. When service returns, your logo submissions, metadata submissions, VeriSign certificates, legal agreements, and user accounts and roles will be preserved. Program SupportAction Required: Routers and Network Media Device Submissions Transition to Automated Certification Program Category Effective Thursday, February 9, 2012, all routers and Network Media Device submissions will transition to the Automated Certification Program category. Partners who certify devices under the following programs will no longer be required to send devices to the lab for certification. Instead, these partners will submit their submission packages through the portal.
