XmlWriter.WriteRaw Method (array<Char[], Int32, Int32)

When overridden in a derived class, writes raw markup manually from a character buffer.

Parameters

  • buffer
    Type: array<System.Char[]
    Character array containing the text to write.
  • index
    Type: System.Int32
    The position within the buffer indicating the start of the text to write.
  • count
    Type: System.Int32
    The number of characters to write.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

buffer is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

index or count is less than zero.

The buffer length minus index is less than count.

Remarks

This method does not escape special characters.

Security noteSecurity Note:

The XmlWriter does not validate the data that is passed to the WriteRaw method. You should not pass arbitrary data to this method.
