Windows Azure Mobile Services lets you monitor your mobile service usage data in the in the Dashboard tab of the Windows Azure Management Portal. Mobile Services supports three service tiers, Free, Basic, and Standard, where each tier has usage limits on specific usage metrics. We recommend that you track your mobile service usage to make sure that you are not impacted by usage limits. Usage limits are calculated and displayed as follows:
Free tier: usage limits are totaled across all the mobile services in your subscription and include a limit on the number of active devices accessing your services.
Basic/Standard tiers: usage limits are on a per-service basis with no limit on the number of active devices accessing your services.
For detailed information on usage and billing, see the Mobile Services pricing details.
Usage limits on API calls are enforced across all tiers. You can scale your mobile service by choosing a higher tier to avoid usage limits. For more information, see Scaling a mobile service.
Billing is calculated on a daily basis. To estimate the cost required to scale your mobile service, see the Mobile Services pricing calculator.
