This topic provides descriptions and legal values for the properties of the Delegation entity of the Windows Azure Active Directory Access Control (also known as Access Control Service or ACS) Management Service.

Delegation Properties

Specifies the unique identifier of the delegation session. This value is automatically set by ACS.

ServiceIdentityId

Specifies the ID of the service identity that is used to authenticate to ACS to obtain an authorization code.

Specifies the ID of the relying party that ACS issues the access token for.

IdentityProvider

Specifies the value of the identity provider claim in the OAuth 2.0 delegated access token.

NameIdentifier

String

True

Specifies the value of the name identifier claim in the OAuth 2.0 delegated access token. This is the name identifier of the end user who has authorized actions to be performed on their behalf.

Permissions

The value of this property is emitted in an OAuth 2.0 delegated access token as the Scope claim.

AuthorizationCode

Specifies the authorization code that ACS issues for the delegation.

False

Specifies whether the Delegation entity is reserved by ACS. Reserved entities cannot be deleted or edited.
