How to: Get Involved in the Developer Community
You can participate in the online developer community in several ways, from Visual Studio. For example, you can post a question to a forum or access Web sites that have developer information.

Post to Community Forums
You can browse the forums found on MSDN Forums. You can also search for specific information in the forums, from Visual Studio.
To post a question to the community from Visual Studio
On the Help menu, click MSDN Forums.
In Enter Keywords, type the subject of your search and then click Go.
Any forum threads that match your search are displayed.
Click a result to view it, or search again.
View and Share Code
You can view code from other developers and share your own examples on the Code Gallery Web site.
To access Code Gallery
From your web browser, go to https://code.msdn.microsoft.com
Note You must have a Passport account to upload samples.
