GridView.SaveControlState Method
This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
Saves the state of the properties in the GridView control that need to be persisted, even when the Control.EnableViewState property is set to false.

Return Value
Type: System.ObjectReturns the server control's current view state. If there is no view state associated with the control, this method returns a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
