DependencyObject.SetValueBase Method
.NET Framework 4
Sets the value of the DependencyProperty to the specified Object, bypassing the SetValue.
Assembly: System.Workflow.ComponentModel (in System.Workflow.ComponentModel.dll)
Parameters
- dependencyProperty
- Type: System.Workflow.ComponentModel.DependencyProperty
The DependencyProperty to be set to the Object.
- value
- Type: System.Object
The Object that becomes the value of the DependencyProperty.
| Exception | Condition |
|---|---|
| ArgumentNullException | dependencyProperty is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). |
This method is useful inside the SetValue override implementation. Typically, the SetValue override code would do some custom logic before calling the SetValueBase method.
For setting a SetValue override, PropertyMetadata can be used in DependencyProperty, Register, or RegisterAttached calls.
