SiteMapNode.Equals Method

Gets a value indicating whether the current SiteMapNode is identical to the specified object.

)

Parameters

obj
Type: System.Object

An object to compare to the current SiteMapNode.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if obj is both a SiteMapNode and identical to the current SiteMapNode; otherwise, false.

Two SiteMapNode objects are considered equal if both of the following conditions are met:

  • Both SiteMapNode objects have the same value for the Key property.

  • The culture-invariant, case-insensitive comparison of both Url properties returns true.

Supported in: 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
