TemplateControl.TestDeviceFilter Method

Returns a Boolean value indicating whether a device filter applies to the HTTP request.

public virtual bool TestDeviceFilter(
	string filterName
)

Parameters

filterName: Type: System.String
The browser name to test.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the client browser specified in filterName is the same as the specified browser; otherwise, false. The default is false.

Remarks

The TestDeviceFilter method invokes the IsBrowser method. For more information on device filtering, see ASP.NET Device Filtering Overview.
